Homes for Rent

Welcome to the Kline Properties rental home area of our website. In this area you will find items of interest to tenants including our application process, a list of homes for rent, our general policies, online maintenance request form, and our payment gateway.

Applications

Our application fee is currently $25 for the first adult applicant and $10 for each additional applicant.  We use National Tenant Network to perform the main part of our screening which includes a credit report, criminal history check, eviction history check, terrorist database check, reports from other landlords, and social security number check.  In additional we verify employment and current and previous tenancy.  Our screening process involves a proprietary point system where you earn points for positive apsects of your ability to pay and keep the residence in good condition.  So, this means that if you have other strong indicators, an eviction will not, by itself, automatically disqualify you.  Positive things we are looking for include at least 1 year on the same job, monthly income of at least 3 times the monthly rent, at least 1 year in the current residence, etc.  Items for immediate rejection of an application are the following: lying on the application,income of less that 3 times the monthly rent, credit score under 500.
